Magnum Oxymeth 50, is an oral steroid that is manufactured by Magnum Pharmaceuticals which contains the active substance, Oxymetholone. Oxymetholone, or Anadrol as it is commonly named, is considered perhaps the most “powerful” and the most dangerous of all existing anabolic steroids, but both of these judgments are very far from the truth. In fact, Anadrol can be called a relatively safe drug and at the same time it has very weak anabolic properties.

Anadrol Properties

The Oxymetholone molecule is very similar to the Oxandrolone and Drostanolone molecules – all three are derivatives of dihydrotestosterone (DHT), in all three, changes were made exclusively in the first ring. Like Oxandrolone, Oxymetholone is an anti-catabolic (inhibits the synthesis and secretion of cortisol), but weaker than its “brother”. Oxymetholone molecules have an affinity for estrogen receptors, but if Drostanolone blocks these receptors, then Oxymetholone, on the contrary, activates them.

Physical effects of Anadrol

As already mentioned, Anadrol is a very weak anabolic. But, thanks to the pronounced anti-catabolic “abilities” as well as its inherent estrogenic and progestogenic activity, Anadrol itself can give good weight gain. Granted, most of the recruited weight will be water. An interesting fact is that Anadrol can be considered a good “fat burner” – because of its anti-catabolic properties, in general. It is sometimes used for “drying” but only for a very limited period of time (1-2 weeks) – due to the ability of this anabolic steroid to retain water.

DOSAGE

The minimum dosage of Oxymetholone by Magnum Pharmaceuticals is 50mg (1 tablet) per day, but the effect will also be minimal. This dosage is best for beginners. The optimal dosage for more experienced steroid users is 100–150mg per day. The best dosage for women is no more than 25-50mg per day. It is recommended to split the daily dose into 2 or 3 doses (the half-life of Anadrol is not clearly defined and lies in the interval of 7-15 hours). The duration of the cycle should be from 4 weeks, up to 8 weeks for men and up to 6 weeks for women.

Side Effects

Anadrol very strongly suppresses the body’s own testosterone secretion, as well as spermatogenesis: the amount of ejaculate decreases sharply during its intake so you need to be prepared for this. As for the effect of Anadrol on the liver, it can be called relatively mild. Stanozolol, for example, “touches” this vital organ more strongly (however, with dosages of Anadrol exceeding 200mg per day, its negative effect on the liver is quite noticeable).
